The mission of the The Dublin Economic Development Corporation is to pursue initiatives and projects that support economic vitality in the community.
Working closely with local business and community organizations, the EDC offers a variety of grants and services that promote entrepreneurship and community development.

From its earliest days, Dublin, Texas has exhibited an entrepreneurial spirit that is innovative, individualistic and resourceful. Dublin's economy is diverse with agriculture, dairy, equine, soft drink bottling, metal building design and components and tourism as top contributors. The community also has healthy retail sales with a variety of speciality stores.

Dublin enjoys a unique identity as hometown to the soft drink icon, Dublin Dr Pepper. The Dublin Dr Pepper Bottling Company has a dual personality serving both as a manufacturing site for the iconic soda pop and also a favorite destination for tourist. More than 70,000 visit the DDP Bottling Company each year to tour the museum and watch glass bottles rattle down the antique bottling line.
