The City of Dublin wants to welcome new businesses to our community.  As an incentive for our new businesses we offer several perks that would make anyone feel right at home.  It’s the little things that make us a special place to lay down your roots.  For example: Tax Abatements are given and Building fees are waived.  As an owner of a business, searching for the perfect location, these opportunities are a big factor in the cost of the project. Our city staff is willing to assist you in setting up your city accounts, such as water, sewer and garbage, providing information, as well as, meeting a friendly face.  We can help!  Come see us!

If you have trimmed or pruned your trees, and need a place for the branches to go, the City of Dublin has an answer.  We offer a program we started several years ago, and that is, chipping tree cuttings. It is a service to help our environment and GO GREEN.   With a grant, we were able to purchase a chipping machine.  This is a FREE service we provide for the citizens inside the city limits.  On the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, we will come to your residences and chip the trees you have trimmed.  (Size of a tree branch cannot be larger than 4” in size).  To be placed on the list, you will need to call city hall and give your name, address, phone, and the size of the stacked pile.  You will be asked, if you want to keep the wood chips, or for the city to take them.  For you, who are environmentally conscience, the wood chip makes a great mulch for your gardens and flowerbeds. You may purchase additional wood chips from the city.  Contact City Hall and make arrangements for pickup.  After the city has received your information, you will be given instructions on how to stack the branches.  We asked that you stack the branches with the cut edge to the curbside.  The branches must be stacked correctly, or the city will have to return at a later date.  You will need to place your name on the next chipping list.  We are striving to make Dublin a better place to live, so help us, to help you!
