Dublin, Texas is a Chamber of Commerce dream-come-true.  We have everything that small town chambers like to brag about -- a healthy business climate, innovative business owners, unusual and fun retail shops...and it’s all tied together with Dublin’s many unique “claims to fame” which bring upwards of 70,000 visitors here each year. Here are some of our braggin’ rights:

• The home of Dublin Dr Pepper Bottling Company, the oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant in the world.

• The birthplace and childhood home of famous golfer Ben Hogan.

• So much history that it takes three (soon to be four) museums to hold it all.

• A downtown historical park that features a century-old grist mill and an early log cabin.

• Some of the most elegantly-restored Victorian homes in Texas, as well as dozens of unusual Craftsman bungalows.

• Fun events including the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, the Cowboy Culture Celebration, Dr Pepper Birthday, Dublin Area Reunion, 10-2-4k Walk and Run, Tour de Pepper, Dublin Christmas Thyme, and Safe Trick or Treat, just to name a few.

• Lush, inviting parks that are just perfect for RVs, camping or just tossing a Frisbee with Fido, as well as a recently renovated swimming pool-bath house complex.

• Beautifully restored historical meeting facilities available for small or large groups.

• A dignified tribute to area residents who have served in the military, as well as to Dublin’s ace pilot-Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Col. George Davis.

• Photo backdrops here, there and everywhere including The Corner Lot which features a gazebo and bubbling fountain in the shadow of Dr Pepper’s giant swinging Pretty Peggy Pepper billboard.
